This week was my first
week back in class. It was intimidating at first because summer had taken its
toll on my memory but for the first day we did a great exercise and brushed up
on all the things the class I felt fuzzy about; connecting to the vehicles computer
and deciphering codes, finding a short to ground, short, open and properly
testing a battery. I have already tackled the key off parasitic drain problem
on the shop's international. I am pretty comfortable with the amp clamp now and
I doubt I will have too much problems (knock on wood (excluding extenuating circumstance))
finding the root of a parasitic drain. I also learned how to crimp connections
on both large and small wires.
