In the past few days I have been struggling with my first timing belt. It also seems that my car needs an engine rebuild so this is going to take a while longer than I hypothesized. So I ordered the parts and I should be getting them today. I suppose my biggest lesson in the past few days is make sure you do it right the first time, and of course how to put on a timing belt. Also the more work the more I learn all the tiny little tricks and tool. I am also having the opportunity to learn how to use different types of pullers. A big draw back to any of my project is that I spend more time looking for tools than I do working but I have been slowly cleaning up the shop. I defiantly have a big appreciation for organization, efficiency and safety, and all of these things go hand in hand.
