When i showed up on Wednesday ready for my test. I studied all night and the morning of memorizing those test study questions. I wondered if Jeff was going through some crazy angle at it, like re-word them and make us write out the answers instead of multiple choice but that wasn't the case. We had a class discussion about the things we had studied and when I was good and confident I had an A coming, I found out that was our test. I have not ever been able to take that much from a multiple choice test (somehow a red mark on my paper never did it for me). Thanks for keeping us on our toes.
Other than that, this week I finished my Caterpillar basics electrical section testing. I feel pretty confidant in my knowledge. I also started to identify fittings and I have discovered many resources for information. (there is an app for that).

SPQ2013
This week I learned more about electricity in a circuit. We had a guest speaker named Dan Bell come to our class and speak about batteries. I recorded the whole presentation and Dan has graciously given me permission to post them but sadly I am having technical difficulty and will have to post the video at a later date (tomorrow). I learned how to relate the simple schematics we have been going over in class to a real schematic and troubleshoot a circuit. I also learned about ohms testing and how to apply ohms law.

SPQ2013 Whitney
This week we worked on basic circuit boards I learned how to read basic schematics, and follow them in a circuit. I also learned Kirchhoff's laws for current and voltage. I now know that there are only 3 problems possible in an electrical circuit; A short, a high resistance voltage drop or a open circuit.
We are getting good with those multimeters!
